Ithmaar Bank B.S.C. (closed) is a Bahrain-based Islamic bank that is licensed and regulated by the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) and provides corporate, treasury and financial institutions, and other banking services.

Ithmaar Bank was established in 1982.

Ithmaar Bank is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ithmaar Holding B.S.C., a Bahrain-based holding company that is licensed and regulated as a Category 1 Investment Firm by the CBB and listed on the Bahrain Bourse and Dubai Financial Market (DFM). Ithmaar Holding is a subsidiary of Dar Al-Maal Al-Islami Trust (DMIT).

Ithmaar Bank’s main office is located in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain. Ithmaar Bank also maintains a presence in overseas markets through its subsidiary, Faysal Bank Limited (Pakistan).

Ithmaar Bank, a Bahrain-based Islamic bank, has one Main Branch, exclusively for businesses and corporate customers. Ithmaar Bank invested tremendous time, money and effort on developing the Bank’s digital infrastructure and on implementing far-reaching, bank-wide digital initiatives. As a result, almost all Ithmaar Bank transactions can now be completed online, without ever having to visit a branch.

Ithmaar Bank is a closed company. Hence, it is not listed in any share market. However, Ithmaar Bank’s mother company, Ithmaar Holding, is listed in Bahrain Bourse and Dubai Financial Market (DFM). The registrar of Ithmaar Holding’s shares is Bahrain Clear Company (a subsidiary of Bahrain Bourse).

Ithmaar Bank issues Mastercard debit cards for corporate customers. The card can be activated online through Quick Services on the website.

If the card has been lost or stolen, please contact Ithmaar Bank Call Centre on Tel No: (+973) 13 303030 or cancel your card through Ithmaar Bank’s eBanking services.

If an ATM swallowed your bank card, please visit Ithmaar Bank’s branch to replace your card.

If the cheque book has been lost or stolen, please notify Ithmaar Bank and the Police in the Kingdom of Bahrain immediately.
